Frequently asked questions

What are laboratory research materials?

Laboratory research materials are synthetic or naturally-derived molecules used in scientific and laboratory studies to explore biological pathways, mechanisms of action, and other experimental endpoints. These products are not approved for human consumption or medical use and are supplied strictly for in-vitro research.

What payment methods do you accept?

Ordering is not open yet, so no payment is taken and no order can be placed. Accepted payment methods, invoice terms for approved accounts and the billing descriptor that will appear on your statement are published here before ordering opens.

Are your laboratory research materials tested for quality?

Yes. Every compound we list has a certificate of analysis from Horizon Analytical, a laboratory in the USA. It reports identity, quantity and purity by UPLC/MS (ultra high performance liquid chromatography with mass spectrometry) and names the lot tested and the analysis date.

A purity figure describes the sample that was tested, on the stated date. It does not describe stability over time, storage history before the material reached us, or sterility. Sterility is not tested and is not claimed.

Do your laboratory research materials come with Certificates of Analysis (CoA)?

Yes. The certificate of analysis for each compound is linked on its product page under Lab reports, and every certificate is listed on the Lab results page. Each one names the lot tested, the analysis date and the results. Our own lot records are published under Verify a lot as lots are released, and can be looked up by the lot number on the vial.
